The Student Association of the Department of Japanese was founded by the 2-Year

Technical Program in the 1990s, and taken over by the 4-Year Technical Program students after then.

The members of the Student Association of the Department of Japanese are all enthusiastic, motivated, and willing to help the department’s various kinds of activities. When the activities of the Student Association of the Department of Japanese need support, members from each department are responsible for the planning of the activities. If there is a shortage of manpower, other members will assist and support each other, and make great connections with each member.

"Cooperation” is the aim of the Student Association. Adopting team cooperation and creating the greatest value with the least force. Working in a team and having great cooperation to make full use of students’ potentials. Furthermore, the student association aims to make good use of association dues to organize events and cultivate the students to be outstanding that can contribute to the society.

Events of Student Association: Tea Party for Freshman, Orientation Camp, Halloween Party, Kimono Photography, Bōnenkai and Natsumatsuri(Summer Festival).
